The challenge
Materials management required an end-to-end reset spanning material visibility, data quality, inventory, warehouse footprint and process consistency. The work addressed how the organisation managed supply-chain activity as a connected process. It combined the identification of improvement priorities with the design of more consistent operational practices.
The contribution
Jeroen worked on the Materials Management Reset, beginning with end-to-end value-stream mapping and the identification, scoping and prioritisation of reset projects. The transformation included process design and standard operating procedures, with work on the Manage Supply Chain process. Its scope covered both the information supporting materials management and the way the organisation carried out the work.
The documented result
The work established a materials-management transformation spanning the documented process and organisational areas. It connected reset priorities with process design and operating standards. A separate numerical result was not publicly reported for each component, so inventory or cost reductions are not assigned to individual activities.
