The challenge

A refinery joint venture was a specific deployment within the broader improvement portfolio. The work covered three North American refineries, giving the assignment an identifiable operating scope beyond the global finance service centres. It also formed part of preparation for a more independent organisational structure.

The contribution

Jeroen delivered continuous-improvement deployment within the energy manufacturing joint venture joint venture covering the three refineries. The contribution was recorded within his finance CI leadership experience. It brought the deployment approach into a distinct joint-venture operating context, separate from the work on methodology for joint ventures more broadly.

The documented result

The work delivered CI deployment across the documented refinery scope. A separate public numerical outcome was not reported. The case does not attribute the wider corporate separation or its commercial outcomes solely to the improvement programme.
