The challenge

Malaysian assets needed stronger competitive performance and the leadership routines and internal capability to sustain change. The programme connected priority projects with value streams, local practitioners and daily management. Its challenge was to improve business performance while building an operating organisation able to own the improvement approach.

The contribution

Jeroen led six CI coaches, six external consultants and a community of 300+ practitioners. He linked priority projects with value-stream management and leadership coaching, building capability through training and supported projects. The deployment extended into visual management, leader standard work and Cadence, connecting improvement ownership with the management of everyday operations.

The documented result

The programme moved assets from the bottom of their peer group to a top performer and achieved Lean Management System Gold certification. It combined business improvement with a substantial local capability network. Programme-wide benefits are not repeated as separate savings claims for its individual workstreams.
