Advisory — Stormholt

SELECTIVE, SCOPED ENGAGEMENTS

Advisory for senior operators with a hard problem.

Stormholt works selectively with leaders and teams on operations that are genuinely stuck. The methodology is not the problem. The cadence is the problem. We work it together, with a clear scope, off the cart.

What Stormholt advisory is for

Stormholt advisory engagements are for leaders facing one of these situations:

  • A continuous-improvement programme that has stalled at month 18 and the executive sponsor cannot work out why.
  • A turnaround where the metrics are red, the team is exhausted, and the standard playbook is not working.
  • A scaling situation where the operation has outgrown its operating cadence and needs to rebuild it without breaking what already works.
  • A leadership transition where the new operations leader needs to install discipline without burning the existing team's trust.
  • A board-level decision about whether to restructure, merge, or divest a struggling operation, where the board needs an operator-grade second opinion.

Engagements range from single-month diagnostics to twelve-month transformations. Every engagement starts with a confidential intake.

Situations where advisory does not fit

Stormholt declines engagements that match these patterns:

  • "We need a vendor for our existing CI programme." Stormholt is a senior advisor, not a delivery vendor. For team training, see For Teams. For facilitator support, see Train-the-Trainer.
  • "We want a process map." Stormholt does not produce process maps as a deliverable. Process maps emerge from engagements; they are not the engagement.
  • "Our HR department is launching a leadership programme." Stormholt is not a leadership-development brand. The Architecture Session may help your steering committee scope what they actually need; an external L&D vendor delivers the programme.
  • "We need someone to interview our team and tell us what is wrong." Stormholt does interviews as part of an engagement, not as the engagement.
  • "We do not have an executive sponsor." Engagements without sponsorship fail at month three. Stormholt declines engagements without named sponsorship at the moment of contracting.

If the fit is wrong, the response email says so directly within five working days.

Submit a confidential inquiry

The intake form filters fit before payment. There is no calendar link on this page. If the inquiry is the right shape, the response includes a discovery call. If it is the wrong shape, the response says so directly.

Email Jeroen at jeroen@stormholt.org with one paragraph describing:

  • The operating situation.
  • The named executive sponsor.
  • The result the engagement needs to produce.
  • The decision deadline driving the inquiry.
